Jalina Ari (also known as Aja Nova), is an Afro-Caribbean multidisciplinary creative and polymath based in Atlanta. Through her paintings, writings, and music, Nova encourages others to explore peace through ascnesion & creativity.

With over five years of experience as an educator, Nova runs a creative kemetic wellness studio, KolorMe. She offers paint-by-numbers kits and herbs, demonstrating that art is a powerful tool for relaxation and self-expression.

In addition to her creative endeavors, Nova runs a mutual aid group, Nu HeART Collective, dedicated to building communities that promote creative expression and healthy food systems through the arts.

Whether she is teaching a class or creating new artworks, Nova is committed to helping others discover peace through creativity. She believes that everyone, regardless of their experience, can benefit from the transformative power of art.
